MLP Drink cocktails

Hey hey hey, fellow bronies. Smokin D here, checking in with something awesome I just found on the net!

Now, this post isnt for you youngins, this is for the guys and gals of legal drinking age. Chimi Cherry Chonga! in NO WAY endorses underage drinking. Also, if you are old enough and plan to do so, please do it responsibly.

With that said, I stumbled upon a neat little site with an article on My Little Pony related drinks! (Although for some reason, they don't ever acknowledge that they are MLP related, weird)  I present these drink ideas to you now with my own thoughts on each.

Up first is Mystic Amethyst, which I would have named Twilightlicious. A mixture of Blue Rasberry, Vodka Champagne, and Creme de Cassis, it sounds just a little too girly drink for me, but its a very pretty color.
Up next is Soft Spoken a drink timid enough for even Fluttershy. a mixture of many soothing flavors like citrus and vanilla with 3 types of vodka, this drink is not liable to be too startling (at least until the 3rd one)

Verdant Inferno is not for the week of heart, a classic margharita combined with habenero juice, a mixture sure to make you breathe green fire like Spike. Drink this at your own risk.
Now we're talking! A blend of three delicious whiskeys with an apple schnapps for flavor, Wise Apple is country boy's dream come true. In the words of Big Macintosh, Eeeyup.
Who wants to get walleyed with Derpy? This drink will certainly do it, and you'll be enjoying a drinkable muffin the whole time.
Another fruity drink for the ladies, The Royal Treatment sounds like one of those drinks you get at a restaurant with a bunch of straws and umbrellas hanging out of it. But minus all that. Perfect for the Princess on the go.
Of course Pinkie Pie's drink, Party Animal, is a drinkable birthday cake. Would you expect any less?
You know, I really think I'd like hanging out with the Apple Family. Here's Apple Jack's drink,
Bold 'N Delicious.
Here's a drink sure to have Rainbow Dash doing upside down loop the loops. Speed Demon takes the joy of a Jager Bomb and makes it fruity, with a pretty blue color.
And now for a drink as elegant as Rarity. Bourgeoisie sounds delicious, a mixture of coffee vanilla and cinnamon. (Also I happen to love Goldschlager, but don't tell anyone, I have an image to protect.)
What is it with these drinks and the color blue? Lunar Vision pays homage to Princess Luna, and when mixed is very pretty shade of blue.
A drink befitting of Gilda the Griffon, High Flyer is a mix of coarse, sweet, and citrus.
Work the dance floor all night with DJ Pon-3 and this unique blend of flavors. It's time for the
Turntable Doubleshot.
Don't be scared, but now we pay homage to Nightmare Moon! Luna Eclipsed is a dark mix of flavors that go down smooth.
Don't brag or boast too loudly how great and powerful The Entertainer makes you feel. We wouldn't want to summon an Ursa Major.
All in all, several of these sound delicious. I unfortunately have no idea what each drinks proper measurements are, so if anyone out there has a clue, please feel free to contact me at my email, I'd love to update these and make the real recipes available.

I hope you've enjoyed checking out these drinks, and I will see you all next time!

  1. What drink would you reccomend if you've never, ever, ever drank alcohol before?

  2. Most first timers ease in with things like wine coolers, smirnoff ice, etc. Most of these drinks would knock you over if you had never had a drink before.

  3. All of these are horrible for first time drinkers. Not only are they boozy, but they are all ungodly sweet and probably go down way to easy. Liqueur based cocktails have a nasty habit of sneaking up on you 3 drinks later. I'd recommend the high flyer but remember you're not drinking just beer. Many a night has been ruined by forgetting that your beer is a boilermaker!

  4. Actually, none of these drinks really has to be either too hard or too sweet; in the original blogpost (@OP: a direct link to the thread would have been nice) a bartender mentioned some general guidelines for making a cocktail when ratios aren't given:
